DGES adopts the K to 12 Basic
Education Curriculum

Don Galo Elementary School has always been in adept of chasing innovative and unique strategies in teaching. For six years now, our school has continuously supporting the implementation of the new
K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum in the Philippines.
Teachers have undergone numerous trainings and seminars in line with the new curriculum so as to equip them with its principles and framework.
School children, being the focus of education, are found to be more active and intuitive in expressing their ideas.
Finally, better learning experiences were gained and instilled in each of our pupils.
DGES Remedial Reading Program
Reading encompasses all learning disciplines as it promotes knowledge and understanding.
At DGES, we crafted a Remedial Reading Program that will encourage a pupil to read with comprehension making sure that he is on the appropriate level of learning.
Reading On the Right Track (RORT) is a reading remediation crafted by our Reading Teacher, Mrs. Mylene Catana. It has been proven to lessen the number of non-readers and slow readers in our school.
